Yeah, sorry about that, I posted like two weeks ago to try for an Apoc game of me vs everyone. I'd like to get into some fantasy after this, see if I can rework my werewolf VC army into the new book.

No problems, that's cool, it's just that for some reason I wasn't seeing the updates to the Apoc thread and thought we were discussing fantasy this weekend until all of a sudden Kerwin mentioned the Apoc game.
Just gives me another week to get demons together.

That's a gigantic relief. Guess I did actually thrash Bryan, and not just morally so. Huzzah!
I will not be doing anything next weekend as I'll be recovering from wisdom tooth removal, so I'll have to catch the fantasy at a later date.

I almost played a game of fantasy this monday with my friends daemons, so I spent alot of time looking at the army and wow...you can make some really nasty lists.
Hopefully ill be able to get my wood elfs from my girlfriends to use them next weekend, if not ill just bring 40k. |

I finally get everyone to play fantasy and then find out I won't make it.

Theres a good chance ill be up for some fantasy next weekend so you should at least have one person to play with.
Btw what kind of daemon list are u planning on running in the new book? |

Not sure actually.
I currently have a mess of bloodletters and a demon (Belakor) painted up and have an even greater number of horrors primed and waiting for paint. I am going to get some hounds painted up and I have two sqauds of plaguebearers and a couple greater demons to work on after that along with all the Slaaneseh stuff (20 or so daemonettes and 10 seekers) that isn' even glued up yet.
I am thinking I am stating with a magic heavy Tzeentch list but will play from there. I am tryingto stay away from the Slaanesh terror bomb for a while as I am pretty sure that would discourage people from wanting to play any more. 
It's funny because I was just working on which units I like for 40k vs fantasy and the only real overlap is the Tzeentch stuff. Horrors and flamers are good in both, Khorne is a lot better in 40k, Nurgle is better in fantasy and I'm not sure about Slaanesh yet.
You had mentioned that you had looked athte book and come up with something. What were you thinking? |
