Alright guys Sean has just committed to playing after watching us play a few games. So right now we have 6-8 people who have said they would play which is enough to start a campaign. So we can get started really soon so heres a few things everyone needs inorder to play.
Because these are pretty complex rules everyone should have a copy of the rule book and the over book, if you cant print one out pm me and ill make sure you get one.
Templates== Again pm me I have the pdf file with them, the 40k ones will work but they are a little big, but no biggie.
Sustained fire dice, anyone who played 2nd ed should have them. I bought blank dice from phantom and made a set, so if anyone wants a copy then feel free to do the same. 3 dice only costs 45 cents.
Everyone should have their mob rosters completed by the first day of the campaign, as for starting experience im putting everyone on the honor system for rolling on it so we dont have to worry about it. So everyone better not come with maxed out starting xp or dey aer gonnaz getz fistz of gorked.
Everyone should also pick if they want to be a gorker or a morker
Everyone is starting off with a basic mob all the games played before the start of the campaign don't count for anything.
Also I know everyone is busy so don't worry about having a painted mob, just do it when you can. As far as gubbenz are concerned you have to have them represented on your trukks but not on your boys (tho I plan on doing that because they look so much sweeter) The new trukk comes with all the bitz so this shouldn't be a problem.
Finally our first house rule is that you can pile boys in your trukk even if they aren't standing. This is because I know we dont have the small gorkamorka bases and the new and old trukks would only be able to fit everyone if we all converted our trukks to be super big and I know people have busy lives so no worries here.
This is going to be fun, be competitive but know in the world of gorkamorka bad things happen alot. One day you will be on top and the next day you mob will implode, laugh and move on. For example I lost yesterday one of my boys went out of action got impressive scars challenged my nob to a pitt fight, got gobsmacked, got impressive scars again and lost again haahah.
Any questions post them here and ill address them, this is going to be like blood bowl show up when you can but unlike blood bowl mobs shouldnt get out of control powerful because the more you play the more there is a chance of bad stuff happening.
As for a start date, im thinking in 2 weeks because I have to go out of town and I know may is a busy month for people. We should have no prob playing at ptoa so that will be where we will meet to play.
You guys are free to play games till then and build a mob up to gain an idea of how the game works but everyone mob will reset to a basic 100 teef mob when the campaign starts. |

Hmm, I've got other things happening on May 3rd, but I'll be making it about every other week. One suggestion I'd make is we predetermine the carring capacity of bikes, trukks, and Trakks. Balancing models is ok, but let's set some ground rules so the size of one's vehicle doesn't have as great an effect. For Trukks, I'd say 12 is a good number as that is how many boyz can be held in a trukk. Personally I'll be focusing more on the fun than the competition. GorkaMorka is too random to be taken that seriously as who wins in the end is almost as much luck as skill(though I'm not sure which one is greater).
I've got my greenskins assembled and will work on getting things primed and painted. I'll Also Break my rule of playing with models that aren't 100% done as we will be playing this for such a short time.

Yea, ill come up with a final ruling of how many boyz can fit in what type of transport.
For length I would like this to go on from may to august as it would make for a good summer campaign, we could extend it longer if you guys are interested but summer sounded good. |

| May 18th is the official start date as I have to move next sat, ill be flying to philly the following sat, and I have a wedding in dc on the 10th. But after that feel free to play games on any day you can since its summer im sure it will be easer to get weekday games in. |

Anyone who needs anything for their boyz should let me know. I obviously have a few trukks and things lying around, and I also have some weapons that aren't normally available anymore, such as old plastic Kannonz. Better to represent things on the model if you can!
I'm going to try and pend this coming weekend just building and painting a lot of stuff rather than do any gaming. I might be convinced to come down and try the game out though...I do need to get a few practice rounds under my belt!

Yes I do, And I'm guessing we will wrap up the GorkaMorka League in late June or Early July. Specialist Games are good, but generally the groups get too unbalanced eventually. I'd expect GorkaMorka to last around 2 months before interest in 5th overwhelms it.

Yea thats fine should be a good time while it lasts, + this can be the start of a yearly thing or at least the start of a new ork army. |

Yearly sounds like an idea. If Orks are in the new starter set, I might increase them to a full army...otherwise...I'd be trying to increase my IG to a full 2k first(though that might not be until thier new codex comes out in a year or two).

Erm, I'm leaving for Moscow in early/mid July. Just so we know that.
Sorry I haven't replied to your e-mail Sean, as it stands right now you probably know more about the game than I do, having played a couple times (or even if you haven't *played*, having seen a few games is more than me!).
I'll make an effort to reply once I've tried things out. Will people be around tomorrow? I'm not sure I'll come, but just in case, I'd like to know.
